How to determine your correct belt length.

When measuring for a Western-style gun belt, make sure you position it correctly for an accurate reading. This type of belt is worn below your regular pant belt and sits across the top of your back pockets. Typically, a Western belt is 3-4 inches longer than your favorite pants belt.

To measure, take your favorite gun belt and place it beneath your pants belt, aligned across the top of your back pockets. Identify the hole where the buckle tongue goes through.

Next, lay the gun belt flat on a surface. Measure from the fold to this hole to determine your Western-style gun belt length.

How to measure the length for a new custom leather belt - Handcrafted by Longhorn Leather AZ, located in Scottsdale, Arizona

This measurement will be the center hole and belt size of your new belt. In this example, you would order a size 36" belt.
